Global Co-packing specializes in packaging many types of products. In our machine park we have many machines that can all place a different type of packaging around products. But what kind of packaging methods are there really?
Packaging is customization
To begin with, product packaging is customization. Every customer has its own needs, and every product has its own dimensions and instructions for use. Together with you, we look at the possibilities, and based on your needs and capabilities, we work out a customized proposal. We offer our customers solutions that meet quality standards and logistical requirements.
Packaging different products
The products that Global Co-packing packs often differ greatly from one another. For example, we pack both food and non-food products. We also pack both solid products and powdery products. We pack all types of products in separate and loose enclosures. Thanks to our versatility, we can take a large part of the packaging process out of the hands of a production company, for different types of products.
Shrink Packaging
Shrink packaging is mainly used for packaging food products, such as candy and cookies and fish and meat products. Shrink wrappers creep over the products like a second skin. Because they are sealed, they also keep longer. This form of packaging can be used, for example, against unauthorized opening of packages or shrink packaging as advantage packaging or bundle packaging.
Doypack packaging
Doypack packaging has grown tremendously in popularity. The doypack, also known as the stand-up pouch, is a bag made of sturdy material that stays upright. The advantage of this fairly new form of packaging is its sturdiness and capabilities. Also, it can be used to pack different types of food products. Quality, with a nice look.
Flowpack packaging
A flowpack package is made of a soft film. The film enclosing the product – often with some air and space left between – is sealed with a flowpack machine. The result is a firm plastic package that is easy to open. The flowpack method is suitable for both primary and secondary packaging. Flowpack packaging is widely used when packing confectionery, and is also popular as inner packaging, over which another package is placed that serves as an outer. Because Global Co-packing has several flowpack machines, we can pack almost any size.
Gas packaging
When you want to extend the shelf life of products, it is wise to choose gas packaging. Under protective atmosphere, the products are packed, extending the shelf life of these products. Gas packaging can extend the shelf life of products by up to 500%! Gas packaging is, logically, used for food products such as meat and fish, but also for seeds and nuts.
Net packaging
Various food products such as nuts, potatoes and various fruits such as manarins and apples are packed in net packaging. Net packaging is also ideally suited as secondary packaging for mini-packaging, for example. Thanks to the use of traditional net packaging, the products in the packaging still come out well, and are held together well. Thanks to Global Co-packing’s various machines, we can almost always produce custom net packaging.
Quadroseal packaging
Quadroseal packaging does not differ much from doypack packaging, only the quadroseal packaging is sealed on 4 sides. Quadroseal packaging is ideally suited for packing dry products, but floury products also come into their own with this type of packaging.
Transwrap packaging
Transwrap packaging can be used for many different purposes and many different types of products, such as solid products, powder products and granular products. Transwrap packaging is widely used with food products, such as nuts and dried fruits.
Cardboard packaging
Cardboard packaging can be used for almost any product, both food and non-food. Our extensive range of machinery enables us to do both horizontal and vertical cartoning.
