At the age of 17, Paul Lans entered the world of packaging. In the nearly 30 years that followed, he has held various positions, learning all facets of the packaging industry. Through his experience and dedication, he has built Global CoPacking a reliable packaging company known for its expertise in co-packing and high-quality service.

1980s

The story of Global Co-Packing begins in the 1980s, when Paul Lans Sr. discovered co-packing as a 17-year-old mechanic

2002

In 2002, Paul started his business in a rented hall at a sheltered workshop with two machines and a small group of customers.

2004

Soon he was able to attract big names such as Catz International, Van Delft and Mondelez International, which laid the foundation for the company’s success. By taking on the entire production of Catz International, the company had to move to its first own 1600m2 building.

2010

An expansion by renting an external hall of 1100m2 was necessary, which allowed us to grow further, both in terms of production capacity and customer base.

2016

Following the cooperation between VIP and Janssen GmHB in 2016, production was further expanded with an additional location, resulting in the move to Vimmerik 12 in Nieuwkuijk (4500m2), where we have continued our activities ever since.

2018

Due to business succession, H and L Packaging was split and we have been operating under the name Global Co-packing since 2018.
